Mandić: Public transport should start soon, the party is scandalous

(Patria) - Minister of Health Vjekoslav Mandić said that this is good news, but he again appealed to citizens to adhere to the measures.

"I would especially like to thank the elderly citizens, pensioners who are adhering to the measures," Mandić emphasized.

He called the behavior of a group of individuals who organized a party in a restaurant last night scandalous.

"I think all participants should be sanctioned in accordance with the regulations. We will contact the hospital management to inform us about the medical staff. There are no words with which one could express the feeling that someone is acting like this at a time when we are fighting to save lives," said Mandić.

Answering the question about when public transport will start operating in KS and FBiH, he said that it will be in three phases.

"The crisis headquarters has made a plan where the easing of measures is foreseen in three phases, and we will present this plan to the Civil Protection Crisis Headquarters. We will see to what extent it will be adopted and when. The first phase follows, then after 14 days the second, to see how it affects the number of infected people and the spread of the virus," he emphasized.

He added that public transport should be expected to start soon and to see how participants in public transport will behave.

He also said that the results should not mislead us.

"We will ease the measures to allow small businesses to operate, but we must not neglect social measures such as distance and hand washing," Mandić added.
