Mandić copies boss Čović: Measures against the economy

One more died, these are our measures. One more died tomorrow, he was chronically ill. We stopped the spread of coronavirus - these are our measures. The virus has spread to almost every corner of the country - these are irresponsible citizens.

These are our measures, every day, at 12 and 5:15 PM we hear the same thing. Measures, our measures, good measures.

And so it goes, sometimes they even add that the WHO praised our measures.

Their measures for most of the crisis so far involved a small number of tests. The public persistently said to test, and they, the crisis headquarters, persistently replied there was no need, WHO this, WHO that. And so it went until the WHO repeated TEST, TEST, TEST about ten times, and the media in BiH reported it and wrote more about it.

So, for example, that is not their measure, it is a measure adopted by the WHO and the media. And as soon as more testing began, we had certain results. However, here we will focus on those measures that will yield disastrous results.

One of them is the a priori suspension of everything that even slightly supports the fragile economy of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It started with hospitality and tourism. And then everything stopped. Better said, it was halted. Overnight, companies went bankrupt and thousands of people were returned to the abyss of the employment bureau.

And so, measure after measure without measure, the economy went to hell, and the dream that this could be a better year. Businessmen without money, workers without lives.

Thanks to those measures, life has become mere survival, and a family within four walls is a time bomb. Children are not allowed outside, parents have no jobs, and if there is an elderly person over 65, chaos is guaranteed.

And all of this, and much more, is not enough for the Federal Minister of Health, Vjekoslav Mandić, to change his tune. Like a broken record, he keeps spinning his own story.

And when the media ask them, they give the same answer. A story far from the truth.

They repeat OUR MEASURES over and over again... And their "our measures" are so good that people in quarantine threaten self-immolation and go on hunger strike, that those at the border burn tents, that patients who do not have coronavirus share their stories with the media on a daily basis. That people who no longer have anything to eat are contacting us....

When we ask them why KCUS is returning oncology patients, why other forms of healthcare are almost halted, Mandić & CO try to do only one thing - protect Sebija Izetbegović.

In a normal country, Mandić wouldn't even be allowed in the Ministry of Health. In the Federation of BiH, he can thanks to politics and Dragan Čović. And what Čović is like, so is his minister. Both of them are selling smoke.

We asked Mandić today why the mortality rate in Belarus and BiH is almost the same. Why the difference between the number of infected people in Belarus and BiH is only a few thousand. We pointed out to him that Belarus has no measures and has six million more inhabitants, while BiH has a plethora of measures.

In the old manipulative style of his party leader, Mandić replies: "I would not speculate with unverified data and, above all, I would like BiH to be compared with neighboring countries. We know that our mortality rate is approximately 4.0, in Germany 3.19, in Austria 3.17, in Slovenia 5.77, in Belgium 14.58, Spain 10, Italy 12, UK 13. If we look at the incidence per 100,000 inhabitants, in Serbia it is 72, in Croatia 45, in Germany 174, and in FBiH 21. In RS 40. When we compare these data, we see that we took quality measures in time. If we look through the prism of actions from the first month onwards, we see that our result is good for now. I like to compare myself with countries in the neighborhood and those closer to us, I would not compare myself with unverified data.”

If the United Kingdom is in the closer neighborhood, then Posušje is our neighboring country. Minister Mandić, I promise that when you lift these "our measures" of yours, I will buy an atlas and give it to you, so you can see where the UK is and where BiH is.

Secondly, Minister Mandić, those are not unverified data at all. Those are completely accurate data, which do not work in your favor, so you evade and play with geography. You are not doing well, minister.

And thirdly, you cannot, Minister, compare entities with countries that have tens of millions of inhabitants. London alone, minister, has almost three times the population of BiH. 

You are comparing yourself to Germany, which has conducted 1.7 million tests to date.

How am I supposed to know, minister, whether your data is for an entity or a country. How can I trust your data, when we have already been convinced many times that you circumvent the truth.

Are there any parameters, minister, along with the data on the percentage of deaths that you are proud of. Does the age of the population of a certain country or some other data affect it. You are incomplete, minister, and you claim that others' data is inaccurate.

Minister, request data on the number of deaths in March 2019 and compare it with March of this year. Compare the numbers of COVID-19 cases this year with other illnesses such as flu, H1N1, and the like in March of last year.

I am almost certain that the difference will be in small percentages. And you, minister, and those around you have stopped life. You have ruined our economy and brought us to a situation where we will have twice as many hungry people after the pandemic.

By the way, minister, the Constitutional Court also ruled on your "our measures" and stated that you were violating human rights. Because of you and your measures, we will all need visas after the crisis.

Because it is better to be infected in Germany than healthy in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

If it is possible to live in BiH and be healthy. 

That's what your excessive measures have brought us!
