Mak Zara realizes its first export to the Netherlands

(Patria) - Mak Zara, a domestic producer of premium praline and chocolate brands, has realized its first export to the EU market through distributor Edex Food. Dried fruit in chocolate has arrived in the Netherlands, and a period of listing in specific markets is currently underway.

“The entire Mak Zara team is extremely proud of this success, which was preceded by months of preparing a market entry plan for the Netherlands in agreement with colleagues from the distribution company. We decided to present ourselves with products that fall into the Dried Fruit in Chocolate category – specifically, plums, figs, and cranberries in Belgian chocolate. The preparation of packaging, declarations, and documentation required the engagement of all employees, and I would like to thank them on this occasion for their effort and readiness to fully realize the initial entry into the EU market. We believe this is the beginning of a successful cooperation,” stated Armin Hodžić, director of Mak Zara company.

The Dried Fruit in Chocolate category has shown a positive trend and growth in the last 12 months in the BiH market, and this is another confirmation of the quality of Mak Zara products beyond the borders of BiH. The company states that at the beginning of June, they will also introduce two new types of products – Apricot with coconut in chocolate and Dates in chocolate, with which they will further strengthen and complete their assortment.
