Mak Zara realizes its first export to Sweden

Mak Zara, a domestic producer of premium chocolate and praline brands, has realized its first export to the Swedish market. This involves the export of the recognizable Mak Zara dried fruit in chocolate with added nuts, and a total of nine different products will be available on the market in this Scandinavian country.

"With this assortment, which we are exporting to Sweden for the first time, we are also present in the largest retail chains in the domestic market. We are proud of our team, and on this occasion, I would like to extend a big thank you to all Mak Zara employees and colleagues from AS Holding who participated in this project. The satisfaction is even greater because we realized this export in the difficult circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Exporting to the Swedish market confirms Mak Zara's quality in terms of achieving the high standards of such a demanding market, but also confirms that the 'Must Have' award we recently received from Instore Magazine went to the right hands. I remind you that in December last year, the most significant retailers in Bosnia and Herzegovina said that they must have this brand on the shelves of their stores," said Armin Hodžić, director of Mak Zara company.

The business partner in Sweden with whom the export is being realized is Plivit Trade AB, which has recognized the potential and quality of Mak Zara products in the best possible way. Mak Zara realized its first export to the EU market in May last year, when its products appeared on the shelves of stores in the Netherlands. A year earlier, Mak Zara broke into the United Arab Emirates market with its chocolate pralines with dried plums.

Mak Zara is the first Bosnian-Herzegovinian manufactory of Belgian chocolate. It belongs to premium brands, precisely because of the specificities of handmade production of all products, with the highest quality and selected chocolates and fillings, and specific and tastefully designed packaging. Mak Zara offers products in three categories - chocolates, pralines, and dried fruit in chocolate. The company operates as part of AS Holding.
