At today's session of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, SDP MP Saša Magazinović asked the Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Denis Zvizdić, "what is happening with the formation of the BiH National Security Council which he announced upon taking office", reports the news agency Patria.
- Zvizdić then emphasized the need to form a body in which the highest representatives of the legislative and executive authorities of the state and entities, heads of intelligence and the most important police agencies, would participate, and which would be responsible for coordinating all actors in the security sector and strategic management of the security sector. The drafting of the document "BiH Security Policy for the period 2015-2025" was also announced at that time.
Since the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH has not been informed of the formation of the National Security Council from the appointment until today, Magazinović requested information about it, specifically stating that the general security situation in the world is disturbed by numerous terrorist attacks, and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in addition to that, by political tensions, the organization of an unconstitutional referendum, etc.
Due to the deteriorating security situation, Magazinović also asked Zvizdić for a statement on the allegations from the Croatian daily Slobodna Dalmacija of 16.07, which claimed that a terrorist core is located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
