
(Patria) - Police in Slovenia have announced that they found the body of a man who died from gunshot wounds on the road near the Hotel Mons. It has been confirmed for Istragu.ba that Satko Kekić was killed, who was supposed to be a protected witness in the case against Dino Muzaferović, known as Cezar, a member of the Škaljari clan.
“The vehicle and body were discovered around 1 a.m. Police secured the scene and began implementing the first urgent measures to identify the perpetrator. An investigation is currently underway at the crime scene, and criminal investigators are conducting an intensive criminal investigation to determine all the circumstances of the criminal offense,” reports 24ur.com.
He was shot with an automatic weapon, and the attackers used a red Audi with Bosnian license plates.
Kekić had previously been sentenced to long prison terms for drug trafficking. He was sentenced by the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2014 to five years in prison.
He was supposed to testify against Dino Muzaferović, known as Cezar, a member of the Škaljari clan.
Cezar is suspected of organizing a criminal group with the aim of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.
