Madžid Maruf: Israel attacks Gaza because it knows it will not be punished

When a criminal knows they will not be punished, they fear no one, and you have no mechanisms to force them to stop their crimes, said Madžid Maruf, president of the Association "Palestinian Community in BiH", in a statement to the BH News Agency Patria (NAP), commenting on the ground invasion of the Gaza Strip by the Israeli army that began yesterday, and in which tens of thousands of members of the Israeli army IDF are participating.

Maruf says the situation in Gaza is much worse than the media portrays it. 13 people were killed during the night, seven of whom were children, and a building housing foreign journalists was hit.

- We are constantly trying to appeal to the world to stop the genocide in Gaza, but it has not happened so far - said Maruf.

The latest attacks on the Gaza Strip are entering their 11th day, during which 261 Palestinians have been killed, and 2,216 have been wounded, including a large number of children and women.

The Israeli side said the invasion was carried out to destroy tunnels through which Palestinians allegedly enter Israel and pose a danger to this country, but this did not happen. Last night, a hospital was hit in Gaza, and Israeli soldiers are also attacking ambulances and civilian facilities.

During the day, a peaceful march will be organized in Sarajevo in support of the Palestinian people, organized by the "Association of the Palestinian Diaspora in BiH" and the Citizens' Association "Svitanje".
