Hungary: Agreement Represents Continuation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Partnership with NATO Alliance

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - "The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary welcomes the agreement reached between the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina", stated the Hungarian Embassy in BiH.

The Hungarian Embassy is the contact embassy for BiH to NATO.

"This agreement represents a key step in the formation of the government and the continuation of Bosnia and Herzegovina's partnership with the NATO alliance, and opens the door for further implementation of defense reforms. We are convinced that this decision contributes to the stability and development of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which has Hungary's constant support", they stated in the announcement.

We remind you that the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina made a decision to accept the document Program of Reforms of Bosnia and Herzegovina. That document will be sent to NATO headquarters in Brussels, according to the agreement, after the appointment of Zoran Tegeltija is confirmed in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Members of the BiH Presidency previously held a meeting with the ambassadors of the "Quinta" member states – the USA, Great Britain, France, Italy, Germany – and the Head of the European Union Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
