"I emphasized that humanitarian aid must continue immediately", Macron wrote in a long post on platform X.

He also stated that he called on Israel to respect the ceasefire in Lebanon.
"Regarding Lebanon, following my talks with the Lebanese President on Friday and this conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister, we decided to work together.
The monitoring mechanism must be strengthened to fully restore Lebanon's sovereignty. This includes Israel's complete withdrawal from Lebanese territory and support to restore the state's monopoly on weapons", Macron stated, among other things.
