Lutrija BiH: In 2016, we paid nearly 9 million KM in fees, taxes, and duties

Lutrija BiH paid a total of 8,885,232.50 KM in 2016 for fees for organizing games of chance, as well as for taxes and duties according to cantonal and municipal regulations, Lutrija BiH confirmed, Patria reports.

Lutrija BiH reminds of the article “Paid over 31 million KM to the budget: Organizers of games achieved the highest growth in paying fees“, published on the news agency Patria portal. The article states that in the first eleven months of 2016, organizers of games of chance paid slightly over 31 million KM, solely for fees and taxes. This data is from the Tax Administration of FBiH.
The article also states that private organizers of games mainly paid the multi-million amount. In this total amount, the article further states, Lutrija BiH, as a state-owned company, participated with 1.07 percent, or 334,000 KM.

Lutrija BiH explains that the data in the article is incomplete. Fees for organizing games of chance do not only include betting on sports results and other uncertain events (betting games, RNG), but also include other games, among other things.

- In accordance with the achieved turnover, Lutrija Bosne i Hercegovine paid 4,667,257.50 KM to the budget in 2016 for fees for organizing games of chance, as follows:

Total:	4,667,257.50 KM

Last year, Lutrija BiH paid 4,217,975 KM in taxes and duties according to cantonal and municipal regulations.

Therefore, in 2016, Lutrija BiH paid a total of 8,885,232.50 KM in fees for organizing games of chance, as well as for taxes and duties according to cantonal and municipal regulations.

We note that Lutrija BiH paid 4,402,006.45 KM in contributions (pension/disability insurance, health insurance/taxes) in 2016 - claims Lutrija BiH, reports Patria.
