
Minister of Interior of Republika Srpska Dragan Lukač met today with the military attaché of the US Embassy in BiH, Mark M. Karas, reports the Patria news agency.
The meeting discussed implemented and future projects of the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska, as well as cooperation with the US Embassy. Special attention was paid to cooperation with the military component in the field of police training and professional development, and to possibilities for equipment donations for the Ministry of Interior of Republika Srpska.
Also discussed at the meeting were the current security situation in Republika Srpska and BiH, as well as recent events in Bosanski Novi with a reference to the conclusion of the Government of Republika Srpska regarding these events.
The meeting was also attended by the head of the Office for Defense Cooperation (ODC) Jacob Andrews, and representatives of the ICITAP Office in Banja Luka, the Ministry of Interior of RS announced.
