(Patria) - London police arrested about 150 people after they deliberately violated a new law banning the pro-Palestinian group Palestinian Action with a rally in support of it.
Protesters who engaged in civil disobedience claim the law restricts freedom of expression.
Supporters of Palestinian Action have organized a series of protests across Great Britain since early July, when the British parliament banned the group and prohibited anyone from publicly supporting it.
It was characterized as a terrorist organization because its activists broke into a Royal Air Force base and damaged two aircraft.
