Fire localized on a tower in the Old Town of Velika Kladuša, firefighters arriving from Cazin

(Patria) - A fire broke out around 4 PM on one of the towers in the Old Town of Velika Kladuša, and all available fire units were dispatched to the scene, where they localized the fire. Fortunately, there were no human casualties.

Fortunately, the fire did not spread to the rest of the Old Town, so the restaurant and accommodation rooms were preserved. Firefighters are also receiving assistance from Cazin, who will try to prevent any further spread of the fire.

The fire occurred when a wooden structure caught fire and collapsed.

The exact cause of the fire, or what caused it to ignite, is unknown. Given that heavy rain has hit the Velika Kladuša area, it is suspected that a lightning strike caused the fire.
