Ljubljana and Zagreb Sberbanks granted seizure of Sarajevski kiseljak shares

The Municipal Court in Kiseljak has issued decisions allowing Ljubljana and Zagreb Sberbanks to seize Sarajevski kiseljak shares, which are owned by Jamnica. The company announced that they will undertake legal actions to challenge this decision.

On October 9, the Municipal Court in Kiseljak issued two enforcement decisions based on a valid document - a bill of exchange, in enforcement proceedings initiated by Sberbank from Zagreb and Sberbank from Ljubljana against Jamnica.

In both disputes, the value of the subject matter is 67.4 million convertible marks.

Dženan Đonlagić, a professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo and the president of the DF Club in the FBiH Parliament, told the Patria agency that he has been warning for some time that BiH authorities are late in adopting legal solutions that would protect Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Agrokor case.

“The Slovenian parliament adopted 'Lex Mercator', and Croatia and Serbia have also concluded their processes. They rightly moved to protect their suppliers and their producers. Of course, BiH had to adopt its own measures to eliminate risks, especially the risk related to the outflow of money from BiH to Croatia, i.e., the outflow of money from Agrokor's daughter companies such as Konzum, Sarajevski kiseljak, Velpro...“, said Đonlagić.

„No one has so far raised the question of whether these daughter companies in BiH, which are capitalized through the Agrokor concern, issued any corporate guarantees for Agrokor's borrowing in Croatia. Everyone, for example, focused on Konzum, and one of Agrokor's most profitable companies is precisely Sarajevski kiseljak“, concluded Đonlagić, writes NAP.
