Lijanović and others to be handed over to the BiH Prosecutor's Office today

Federation of BiH Deputy Prime Minister Jerko Ivanković Lijanović will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina today, after which prosecutor Ismet Šuškić will decide whether to request custody for Lijanović from the BiH Court, writes the BiH news agency Patria (NAP).

Yesterday, the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) arrested 11 people in the "Meso" and "Brend" operations on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of organized crime in connection with non-payment of taxes, tax evasion, and money laundering, thereby acquiring an illegal property benefit exceeding 11.6 million KM.

Among those arrested are the Federal Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture in the FBiH Ivanković Lijanović, Federal Minister of Trade Milorad Bahilj, President of the People's Party Work for Betterment Mladen Ivanković Lijanović, as well as several other members of the Ivanković Lijanović family and their associates, writes NAP.
