(Patria) - The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lebanon condemned Iranian attacks on several Arab countries and emphasized that the military activities of the Hezbollah movement do not reflect the official position of the Lebanese state.
In a post on the social network X, in which he summarized the messages from the recent Arab League meeting, Minister Yousef Radi stated that Lebanon "strongly condemns" the Iranian attacks directed towards the Gulf Arab states, as well as towards Jordan and Iraq.
Speaking about Israeli attacks on Lebanese territory, Radi said that Hezbollah has neglected Lebanon's state interests and accused the organization of acting outside the institutions of power.
On this occasion, the minister once again called on Hezbollah to surrender its weapons without delay.
These statements come after the Lebanese army withdrew from some of its positions along the country's southern border, following an Israeli military operation launched earlier this week on Lebanese territory.
