
(Patria) - A drone launched from Lebanon hit the area where the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is located in the city of Caesarea in northern Israel.
The Israeli military stated that three drones were detected entering Israeli airspace from Lebanon. Two were destroyed.
It was stated that one drone struck a structure in the city of Caesarea, but no injuries were reported, Anadolu reported.
During the attack, alarms sounded at the Glilot base, a joint base of Mossad and "Unit 8200" responsible for military cyber intelligence, near Tel Aviv.
A spokesperson for the Israeli police stated that police were heavily deployed in the area after the drone hit a building in the city of Caesarea and are searching the area to determine if there are any explosive parts.
Israeli police sent a large number of soldiers around Netanyahu's house and closed the entrances and exits of roads leading to this location in the city.
Images and videos posted on social media show medical teams and police densely gathered around the area where concrete blocks and a guard booth are located for security around Netanyahu's residence.
