The Tango of the Falling Star Butterfly: Nikšić, Konaković and Forto in Euphoria, Zaev Laughs at Them from the 'Resting Place for Leaders' of the EU Path!

Promises are like the full moon; if not fulfilled immediately, they fade more each day. This German proverb perhaps best describes the speed at which the artificial glitter of the story the Trojka is selling us as historic integration towards the EU will diminish and cease. Starting from the premise that nothing good existed before them, the Sarajevo tricolors, unaware of the delusion of their own thoughts, scattered across the media and social networks to convince us “that March 21st is a historic day for BiH”. And on top of it all, they feed us a, to put it mildly, hypocritical speech that thanks to their “wise policies,” we have received the green light from the European Union.

And they don't want to say, not even a trace, what that route looks like, the one we are supposed to step onto after the green light. They consciously conceal the hard truth that the green light we received is not a roadmap or an elevator that will lift the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina to a higher level. To the level of medium-developed and organized EU member states. Instead of the truth, the wise ones from the Trojka excitedly raise their hands, hoping that the gifted ticket for negotiations with the EU can bring them political power, which they feared like a leaf in a storm every second the European Council session lasted.

Because, neither do they care what the European Union's gift means for its own interests, nor do they dare to soberly consider what consequences their concessions will have on the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina in order for the green light to turn on at the traffic light of an unknown road. It is an unambiguous fact that they have invested almost everything they had as a stake of the people and the state they are supposed to represent for that light, solely out of narrow party and personal interests, and certainly not for the interests of the people and the state.

And undoubtedly, it will cost them. It has cost all those similar to them in countries that are now members, and especially those who gave everything on the EU path, even their identity, without yet becoming part of the EU. Their leaders invested too much on that European path for too few results, and the people quickly understood that and punished them. Therefore, the celebration of the tricolors from Murphy's pocket is meaningless; no matter how long it lasts, it will ultimately bring sobriety for themselves.

And that is not the problem. The problem is that due to the desire of the trio Konaković, Nikšić, and Forto to consolidate power and authority, the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina will ultimately find itself in a situation where it will have to defend its existence, independence, and sovereignty in a much more difficult way than it did before that green light.

Bosnia and Herzegovina officially received candidate status for membership in the European Union on December 15, 2022. What a miracle, the state existed and things were happening even before the arrival of the missionaries under the flags of Schmidt and Murphy. Has Bosnia and Herzegovina progressed due to its candidate status, have the threats to its existence decreased even by a promille? No, just as after March 21, 2024, those threats will not disappear, but will become more dangerous and visible.

I remember how much Dragan Čović, the leader of HDZ, was raving after receiving candidate status. Then, as now, it was said to be a historic day, and history says that every day called historic at the moment it happens is nothing more than a crossed-out number on the calendar. History, after the passage of time, defines what was historically good or bad, not the Trojka or Dragan Čović. But they are not to blame that their hard-earned diplomas define the extent of their ignorance.

Turkey would be a good example to calm the Trojka's euphoria, but there is an even better one, a model even closer to parts of the Trojka.

North Macedonia, formerly the Republic of Macedonia, officially changed its name on February 12, 2019. It did so under Zoran Zaev's government to unblock Euro-Atlantic integration because Greece stood in its way. It received candidate status in 2005 and the right to negotiations on July 19, 2022, three years after changing its name. Despite all that has been done, North Macedonia is not a member of the EU.

And what is worse, North Macedonia is still today, as in all previous years, under the same amount of threat which, as in the case of Bosnia and Herzegovina, comes through hybrid and cyber attacks, through crime and the intelligence underworld… Not even joining NATO has reduced these threats. Zoran Zaev left office about a month after opening negotiations with the EU.

What Nikšić himself wrote to Zaev at the time could be indicative and worrying for him. “Zoran Zaev, my friend, has fully taken responsibility for his party's defeat in the local elections, so he resigned as president of SDSM and as Prime Minister of North Macedonia. All along, he showed that the interests of the citizens of North Macedonia were his top priority. Zoran Zaev and SDSM are direct victims of the catastrophic and hypocritical policy of the European Union in that country, and in the entire region.” So, it was clear to Nikšić at the time that Zaev paid the price for the European path.

Although I don't want to spoil his European euphoria, Nikšić, as well as his political associates, must be reminded that Zaev brought North Macedonia into NATO, yet paid the price for negotiations with the EU. Unlike the Trojka, Zaev did it for the sake of the state, and yet the people gave him a red card from which he never recovered. Local elections in BiH are in about six months; let the tricolors think if they need to celebrate anything.

What the Trojka is clearly unable to grasp, all other political entities based in the territory liberated or defended by the Army of RBiH should understand. The Republic of Croatia has become a much more serious threat after March 21, 2024, than it was before. Whoever does not see that Plenković, Grlić Radman, and Zovko celebrated the green light for BiH's negotiations with the EU to the same extent as the tricolors did as political puppets (puppets in a play about the success of a state that is still threatened with disappearance today) is politically blind.

“We succeeded,” exclaimed Plenković, reminding us why he was so elated: “We will continue to help BiH and protect the interests of Croats as a constituent people.” Interestingly, while waiting for the white smoke over the European Council, information emerged about the prepared Election Law, which in form and substance represents the realization of this Plenković's “protecting the interests of Croats in BiH.” Read - protecting the interests of HDZ and RH. So, before the self-absorbed Trojka members managed to return to Sarajevo, the first invoice arrived.

More will come, economic, political, energy-related. Zagreb has never given up on the basic idea of us being its province; it has only sophisticated the way it achieves it. And while Zagreb celebrates the opportunity to more easily drown us in its banovina, we must recall the announcement of the pan-Serbian assembly coming from Belgrade. That assembly will consider the position of the Serbian people and define some steps.

And Milorad Dodik has already defined some of those steps. April is just around the corner, and in April, he expects to receive, on the waves of false European magic, what he demanded and what was promised to him. That is the expulsion of foreign judges, but I am sure also a concession on state property, which is necessary for him as the last attribute of the statehood of the entity of Rs.

And while the legionaries of compromise under Schmidt's and Murphy's flags pay the invoices for the green light on an uncertain path, the only area that will be able to join the EU is Konjic, as a form of the letter “and” between the area known as Bosna, or rather Herzegovina.

Meanwhile, from the political grave of leaders on the European path, Zoran Zaev will be laughing at Nikšić and his associates, wondering how they didn't understand from his example that no compromise with the interests of the state is worth the European path. Because the European path is defined by bureaucrats and cadres who are essentially identical to the Trojka's project. Everything is possible when it suits the narrow interests of the group leading the processes, and nothing is possible when it is not in their interest.

Therefore, I will end the text with another German proverb that says: “Better a friendly refusal than an unwilling promise.” If only the Trojka and all of us in Bosnia and Herzegovina would realize that there is nothing friendly in the European Union. Everything is interest, including giving dysfunctional BiH negotiations in a fit of panic from the Siberian bear whose rage is creating increasing paranoia in Brussels!
