Lendo with Mufti Grabus: Overcoming political differences among Bosniaks that harm the people and the state

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - FBiH Vice President Refik Lendo met today with Sarajevo Mufti Nedžad ef. Grabus.

Lendo informed Mufti Grabus about the current political developments in FBiH, with a special focus on the process of forming the new convocation of the FBiH Government.

During the conversation, the need for an agreement among all relevant political factors was stated in order to complete this process as soon as possible and in the interest of all citizens of FBiH.

The meeting also discussed activities and projects being implemented in the area of the Sarajevo Mufti's Office, possibilities for cooperation with government institutions, and the current situation of the Bosniak people and their mutual relations.

Concern was jointly expressed about the tendency to create deep political divisions among Bosniaks, which directly reflects on the position of the Bosniak people in the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.

In this context, the interlocutors highlighted as particularly unacceptable politically motivated attacks on the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Reisul-ulema Husein ef. Kavazović.

It was concluded that it is necessary to make additional efforts to overcome the political differences among Bosniaks that harm the people as a whole and the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
