SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Our lasting obligation is to constantly remind on this date what happened during the 1,425 days of the barbaric siege of Sarajevo, wrote this morning on his Facebook profile the Vice President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Refik Lendo.
"To remember the 1,601 innocent children of Sarajevo who were killed, their interrupted youth and interrupted childhood games. To express respect to the parents, to empathize with their pain.
For the sake of future generations to come, we must constantly remind and emphasize that the murdered youth of Sarajevo must never be forgotten and will not be forgotten," Lendo stated.
