A new hit has appeared on the Bosnian market, especially in advertisements: fake security cameras that citizens are buying to protect themselves from thieves, writes the Patria News Agency.

Given that the economic situation in our country is extremely difficult, citizens have found a way to mislead thieves with fake security cameras that they install on their houses, apartments, cottages, and other properties.

Edin N., who sells fake cameras through advertisements, says he has business because people don't have money for real ones, so they find ways to cope like this.

- So, these cameras look just like real ones, and it's very difficult to notice the difference. And on the other hand, they are much cheaper. Prices range from 12 to 50 KM. You have fake cameras with motion detectors, those with solar-powered lights, etc. There is a wide selection - Edin said.

The advantage of fake cameras is that thieves do not take risks and as soon as they see cameras, they move away from the property, because, as the sellers say, it is impossible to recognize the difference between real and fake cameras.
