(Patria) - Moscow has not received any offers from Washington regarding the lifting of sanctions, although the United States is clearly interested in doing business together, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in an interview with CBS, TASS reported.
"No. How can we offer something? In a situation where... Well, the United States clearly tells us that they are interested in doing business together," he said when asked if there had been any offers to lift sanctions from the United States.
"It is up to them to decide," he added.
According to Lavrov, Russia has never rejected business proposals "on the condition that they are based on equal opportunities and mutual treatment and lead to a balance of interests".
"Specific proposals mentioned in the media, I cannot comment on. This is not serious. We do not behave like the people in Kyiv who talk to the world through the media, including talking to the presidents of large countries," he said.
