"Inclusion Corner" at Kid's Festival Again This Year

One of the most significant events for children and youth in Southeast Europe - Kid's Festival, is being held this year from June 3 to 6, in Sarajevo, on the route between Alija Izetbegović Square and the Army House. The festival, held for the thirteenth time, offers children and youth the opportunity to have fun and connect with each other, and exchange innovative ideas, visions, and imagination through its program and interesting activities.

With the aim of creating an environment of equal opportunities for all children, USAID, with the partner organization "Give Us a Chance", is organizing an inclusive corner again this year. The corner will be open in the premises of the Army House, where children will have the opportunity to socialize and have fun with a lot of interesting content such as modeling, art workshops, and face painting.

- This inclusion corner will offer every child a place to spend some time with their friends and learn something new through play and socializing while at the Kid's Fest - said Steve Majors, USAID Mission Program Director in BiH.

Thus, the "Inclusion Corner" will host all interested children who want to socialize and play. Educated staff will work with the children, and the name of the corner suggests that the workshop is not exclusively for children with developmental disabilities. Everyone who visits the "Inclusion Corner" will be able to see that a child's mind knows no boundaries, is not afraid of different and diverse, NAP reports.
