SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba held a meeting today in Berlin with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken within the framework of an informal meeting of NATO foreign ministers, also attended by the ministers of Finland and Sweden, who seek NATO membership.
After the meeting with Blinken, Kuleba stated that the US is sending additional weapons and other aid to Ukraine.
"We agreed to work closely together to ensure that Ukrainian food exports reach consumers in Africa and Asia. I am grateful to Secretary Blinken and the US for their leadership and unwavering support.
Ukraine is one of the world's largest producers of wheat and oil, so the halt in exports has also caused disruptions in the global market. The UN has warned that the consequences for Africa could be catastrophic and cause global food problems.
Kuleba also held a series of other meetings with foreign ministers in Berlin and stated that Russia must be further isolated until it ends its aggression against Ukraine, including an embargo on Russian oil imports.
