Kučuk outside BiH: I was not arrested, I am on vacation

By order of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, from the early morning hours, several hundred police officers of SIPA and police agencies providing support in the operation, on the ground carried out arrests, searches, and detentions, targeting 9 individuals who are the subject of these activities.

Among the suspects is Ejub Kučuk, owner of the marketing agency MITA, but in a statement to the Patria News Agency, he said he did not know what it was about and that he was outside of BiH.

- I am on vacation outside of BiH and I don't know what you are talking about. I am not aware of such stories - Kučuk said briefly.

Otherwise, on his Facebook profile on October 13, Kučuk posted a status announcing his vacation and new projects.

- 4 years ago it all seemed like an adventure, many told me I was crazy, and we won. 2 years ago it was a very good and well-coordinated machine, a dominant victory. Today it is a historic result, and the teamwork of the agency and a large number of client teams has truly shown the power of unity. We have absorbed an incredible amount of knowledge about all marketing disciplines, perhaps it is time to try ourselves in larger markets. Thank you to the client who recognized our quality, thank you for the support to all friends and media, thank you to MITA Group, the best team in the world, thank you to all the good people I have met in recent months and who are an integral part of this great project and victory.

Kučuk later in the day said that he was returning to BiH, and that he would report to SIPA in the evening.
