KS: Unemployed persons will pay 12 KM for a monthly transport pass

Unemployed persons residing in the Sarajevo Canton area, registered with the "KS Employment Service", will be able to purchase a monthly public transport pass for 12 KM. This was established by the Decree on the price of monthly transport passes for the unemployed in public city transport of persons in the Sarajevo Canton area, which was adopted today by the KS Government, at the proposal of the KS Ministry of Transport, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

An unemployed person is entitled to purchase a monthly pass based on a personal request, a statement certified by the competent authority, a certified photocopy of the registration card of the unemployed person with the "KS Employment Service", and an ID card.

Users exercise their right to transport and the rights from this Decree with all business entities registered for public city transport and which have registered lines for performing this activity.

The Government supported the view that the introduction of a uniform price of 12 KM for the category of unemployed persons will contribute to improving the collection of transport services and yield positive financial effects in the overall operations of KJKP GRAS, which is part of the commitment of the Government and the Canton Assembly expressed through measures to stabilize the situation in this company.
