KS: Public call today for payment of minimum wage for March to those whose work is prohibited

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton Draško Jeličić said that today during the day a public call will be published for the allocation of budget funds to natural and legal persons for the payment of minimum wages for the month of March. The condition is that their business activities have been prohibited by a decision of the crisis headquarters of the Federation and the Sarajevo Canton.

"Only those legal and natural persons from the territory of the Sarajevo Canton can apply to the call, provided they meet several conditions: that their work has been prohibited by orders of the headquarters, that they have fulfilled their obligations regarding public revenues as of December 31, 2019, and that they have retained the same number of employees on March 31, 2020, compared to February 29, 2020. The minimum wage will be paid only for workers who have residence in the territory of the Sarajevo Canton.

Along with the public call, which will be published on the website of the Ministry of Economy of the Sarajevo Canton during the day, there will also be instructions on how to fill out the forms, as well as the method of submitting documentation to the municipalities, so that requests can be processed more easily.

Documentation will be submitted electronically and by mail.
