BLOODY SETTLEMENT IN SERBIA Killed neighbor and police officer, then committed suicide

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In a bloody settlement that completely paralyzed Zaječar for three hours last night and early this morning, the attacker used a firearm on 7. September Street to kill a neighbor, and then a police officer who tried to intervene, reports Glas Zaječara.

The shooting occurred on 7. September Street, in building number 8, around 10 p.m. As Anđela Risantijević, editor-in-chief of Glas Zaječara, told Telegraf, according to unofficial information, the neighbor shot and killed the neighbor, then shot and killed a police officer and wounded another policewoman and a policeman.

Members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit (SAJ) arrived in Zaječar by helicopter around 11:15 p.m., accompanied by Minister of Internal Affairs Aleksandar Vulin.

Around 1:20 a.m., a loud explosion was heard from the blocked part of the city, followed by several gunshots, after which everything fell silent.

Although media in Serbia reported that the attacker was eliminated in an operation by SAJ members, who left Zaječar by helicopter from the Timok stadium around 2:20 a.m. early this morning, the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs announced this morning that the attacker had committed suicide.

Unofficially, the attacker is a person who had been reported multiple times for harassing neighbors.
