Krsmanović: The story about a referendum in the RS is Dodik's last attempt to avoid prison

NDP deputy in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska Zdravko Krsmanović said that the story about a referendum on the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH is the last attempt by the President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, to avoid prison.

In an interview with Vijesti.ba, Krsmanović said that the opposition will not support Dodik's announcement to call a referendum on the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH because he believes it is just Dodik's diversion from the economic problems in the RS and the lack of at least 500 million KM in the budget of this BiH entity.

The President of the RS, Milorad Dodik, officially submitted a request to the National Assembly two days ago to convene a special session where the decision on a referendum on the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, adopted back in 2011, would be reactivated.
The referendum question on which citizens in the RS should declare themselves would relate to whether citizens support the abolition of the Prosecutor's Office and the Court of BiH, i.e., the formation of entity prosecutor's offices and courts, Patria reports.

- He (Dodik) in this case only fears the Court and Prosecutor's Office of BiH, as well as state agencies for investigation and protection, primarily SIPA. He represents organized crime and as such must be subject to investigations - said Krsmanović, as reported by NAP.
