SARAJEVO, (Patria) - There are 128 infected people in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and one person has died. The Federal Government, the Federal Civil Protection Headquarters, and the Crisis Staff of the Federal Ministry of Health will provide the public with the latest information related to the coronavirus situation twice a day starting today.
The FBiH Government is in continuous session, said Fadil Novalić, Prime Minister of the Federation, emphasizing that this will continue until the state of emergency passes.
“The first night with a movement ban is behind us. Citizens behaved quite disciplined,” said Novalić.
He announced a drastic budget rebalance.
“It is certain that the real sector alone cannot bear this crisis. We will carry out a radical budget rebalance, as it was made when the situation was normal. Of course, it will affect the economy. There will be reductions, both at the federal level, and at the cantonal and municipal levels,” said Novalić, without specifying whether there will be a reduction in funding for political parties.
The Prime Minister said that all companies related to utility services are working smoothly and will continue to do so.
The Minister of Health of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vjekoslav Mandić, said that 36 infected people have been confirmed in the Federation.
“We have enough tests, so there is no need to worry, but I feel the need to say that a test can also be false negative. Therefore, only those should be tested for whom the epidemiologist determines it is necessary,” said Mandić.
