CRITICAL IN USK Una and other rivers at critical points, some have already flooded roads and agricultural land

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Heavy rainfall has caused river levels to rise in the Una-Sana Canton and their overflow in several places, and several landslides have been activated.

In Bihać, 97 liters of rain per square meter fell in the last 24 hours, while the monthly average for this city is 125 liters, according to data from the weather station in this city.

The water level of the Una River in the center of Bihać has exceeded the critical point of 100 centimeters since yesterday and is currently 144 centimeters, and it continues to rise. 

According to the latest report from the Federal Civil Protection Administration, there are no reports of the Una River overflowing in Bihać, and firefighters have had several interventions pumping water from buildings and yards.

In Sanski Most, water is flowing over the road on the regional road from the settlement of Hasumovci to Kamengrad, and in Bosanski Petrovac, several cases of flooding of yards and family houses by rainwater have been reported.

On the road communication Bosanska Otoka-Bužim, in the places Baštra and Čava, streams have overflowed onto the road, and agricultural land in the place Kajtezi has been flooded.

In the municipality of Bužim, in the place Nanići, the Bužimnica River has flooded the local road, and agricultural land in the place Jusufovići has also been flooded.

In the area of Cazin, the Korana and Mutnica rivers have overflowed and flooded agricultural land, and the bridge near Čajino potok is closed to traffic due to water overflowing onto the road.

The Sana River has overflowed in a few places onto agricultural land in the municipality of Ključ, but there are no endangered buildings, and the situation is similar in the municipality of Velika Kladuša, where the Kladušnica River has flooded riparian land in a few places.
