Kristić gave a statement at the KS Prosecutor's Office, will the new majority not attend the session?

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The decision on the election of the new Chairperson of the KS Assembly Danijela Kristić has been published in the Official Gazette of Sarajevo Canton, and the decision was made on 27 December 2019. Only a day later, Mirza Čelik from SDA was elected as the Chairperson of the KS Assembly. The old majority, consisting of NiP, Naša stranka, SDP BiH, NBL, Damir Nikšić, Damir Marjanović, does not recognise Čelik as the Chairperson, although Kristić placed this decision on the agenda of the KS Assembly session on 16 January. Čelik was elected to the leadership of the KS Assembly by the Bosniak Club instead of Elmedin Konaković.

Regarding all the events in the KS Assembly and the disappearance of the seal with which the decision on Čelik's election as Chairperson was not stamped, the KS Prosecutor's Office has formed a case, and the KS Prosecutor's Office has already been visited by Elmedin Konaković and Danijela Kristić.

According to information that can be heard from representatives, it is still unknown whether the new majority will attend the session on 16 January. On the agenda is also the determination of the date for the session at which a vote of no confidence in the KS Government will be held, based on the request of 18 representatives of the new majority consisting of SDA, SBB and DF. If the representatives from these parties do not come to the session, it will not be able to be held due to lack of quorum, as was the case on 8 January.
