(Patria) - At the end of last year, the BiH entity Republika Srpska did not get the Law on the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council, although it was pompously announced earlier by Milorad Dodik, member of the Presidency of BiH and SNSD leader, so the competencies regarding justice are still at the BiH level.

In one of his latest New Year's interviews, Dodik has a new date for the adoption of that law, by the end of this month.

"At the end of January, we will enter parliament with new legal solutions regarding the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska," said Dodik. However, some sources claim that nothing will happen regarding legal solutions for returning competencies from BiH to Republika Srpska until March, if at all.

According to BN, Dodik's coalition partners are suggesting to "drag out" the story about the transfer of competencies and the formation of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Republika Srpska, aware that they are entering very risky territory...

Well-informed sources claim that Dodik's goal is to avoid prosecution for corruption and to preempt the election or re-election of certain prosecutors in district and entity prosecutor's offices of Republika Srpska, who have started to pull cases out of their drawers...

Dodik has long hinted in close circles that the day will come when everyone will have to answer for their actions, and hence, according to his close acquaintances, this nervousness and attacks on everyone and everything.

He is aware, according to that source, that members of his immediate family have also entered the criminal octopus that has gripped Republika Srpska...

Dodik has recently focused on SDS, i.e., the leader of that party, Mirko Šarović, who is not letting him get away with it.

On the contrary, the impression is that, among other things, Dodik fears Šarović, who once "blew him away" in the elections, and even now refuses to play by his tunes and has very clearly stated that Dodik is gambling with Republika Srpska for his own benefit, leading the people into even greater poverty and uncertainty.

Responding to Dodik's attacks, Šarović recently said that he hopes that "honest Milorad Dodik will tell the prosecutor's office everything he knows about crime and corruption, drug routes, the involvement of political parties in crime and corruption, since he knows it best."

It is obvious, says the BN source, that some judges and prosecutors, as well as certain structures in the police, have broken free from Dodik's control, and there is great panic at the "court.".

In the cases that are being kept in drawers, and about which there is increasingly talk that they are being worked on the most, Dodik and his closest associates are involved, as well as his coalition partners from United Srpska and the Socialist Party...
