Kremlin: If the US deploys missiles in Europe, its capitals are potential victims

(Patria) - European countries would expose themselves to risk if they agreed to the deployment of long-range American missiles, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said yesterday.

When asked by journalists from Russian state television about the possibility of the US deploying hypersonic missiles in Europe, Peskov replied:

"We have enough potential to deter these missiles, but the capitals of these European countries are potential victims."

Peskov also stated that during the Cold War, American missiles stationed in Europe were aimed at Russia, and Russian missiles were simultaneously aimed at Europe, which is why the countries of the Old Continent were the main targets of any potential conflict.

- Europe is now falling apart at the seams. This is not the best time for Europe, and therefore, one way or another, history will repeat itself - Peskov said.
