EBRD loan: 4.5 million euros for reconstruction of water supply network in Visoko

 

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina at today's session accepted the Initiative of the Ministry of Finance and Treasury to conduct negotiations for concluding a Loan Agreement (Visoko Water Supply Project) between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, worth 4.5 million euros, announced the Council of Ministers, reports the Patria news agency. 

 The goal of the project is the reconstruction of the city water supply network. This will resolve water supply for about 12,000 citizens of Visoko in the settlements of Gračanica, Moštre and Porječani, and other residents of this municipality covered by the reconstruction of the city water supply network will also benefit from the project.

The loan repayment period is 15 years, including a three-year grace period with a favorable EURIBOR interest rate.

After the completion of negotiations, the Ministry of Finance and Treasury will submit to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina a Draft Agreement with the basis for its conclusion in accordance with the Law on Borrowing, Debt and Guarantees of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
