Krajiški club wins court case against ATV, TV on blacklist must pay them 1500 KM

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Airsoft sports club "Crna Munja" from Cazin is not a paramilitary group, they are not mercenaries, and they do not pose any security threat, concludes the legal battle that this club waged against ATV. 

"After five years of legal battle, ASK 'Crna Munja' has proven through court that the regime ATV Banja Luka made false claims about our club in its news reports. All accusations made by journalists and their so-called experts to the public have turned out to be mere lies and slander, so this television will have to pay our club the amount of 1,500.00 KM in damages, cover court costs, and issue a public retraction," stated ASK "Crna Munja". 

They add that this is a great victory for their club and for airsoft in BiH in general.

"We would like to thank our lawyer and club members who remained persistent until the end and did not allow someone to tarnish our honor and dignity without any basis, because 'Crna Munja' is more than a club...", emphasize this club. 

ATV also published the verdict, which states:

1. The defendant is ordered to pay the plaintiff the sum of 1,500 KM for non-material damages due to defamation and damage to reputation, with statutory default interest from the date of the verdict until final payment, within 15 days of receiving the verdict. The plaintiff's claim for interest on the awarded amount from the date of the lawsuit until the date of the verdict is rejected as unfounded.

2. The defendant is ordered to publish the introduction and the operative part of this verdict in their evening news and on their portal www.atvbl.com within 15 days of receiving the verdict.

3. The defendant is ordered to compensate the plaintiff for the costs of the civil proceedings in the amount of 1,162.80 KM. The remaining part of the plaintiff's claim for costs exceeding the awarded amount is rejected as unfounded.

4. The defendant's claim for compensation of procedural costs is rejected in its entirety as unfounded.
