Krajina does not forgive: Farmers demand dismissal and prosecution of Dedić who brought Abdić into power

At an emergency telephone session of the Coordination of Associations of Farmers, Processors and Federations of FBiH, a decision was made on the request for the dismissal and prosecution of the federal Minister of Agriculture, Šemsudin Dedić, at the proposal of representatives of farmers from USK, reports the Patria news agency.

Farmers, in their request, state that they are seeking Dedić's dismissal due to corruption, abuse of office, public deception, non-payment of subsidies, and failure to adopt programs in accordance with the law and subsidy regulations, in order to prevent further damage to agriculture, it was announced from the Coordination of Associations of Farmers, Processors and Federations of FBiH.

- With the arrival of Šemsudin Dedić, the Vice-President of SDA and President of KO SDA USK and the current Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry of FBiH, irreparable damage has been done to agriculture (especially livestock farming) due to the minister's crime, corruption, and ignorance.

Due to the difficult situation in agriculture, and especially the attitude of the FBiH Government and the relevant minister Šemsudin Dedić, the Coordination of Associations of Farmers, Processors and Federations of FBiH has pointed to corruption and crime, to which SDA officials remained inert and did nothing to prevent the destruction of agriculture, and were expectedly punished in the elections, especially in the electoral base of Minister Šemsudin Dedić in USK.

Šemsudin Dedić comes from Bihać. Although his municipal organization, the City Board of SDA Bihać, never supported the political moves he made, Dedić enjoys the absolute protection of President Bakir Izetbegović.

The fact that he indirectly brought the Labour Party of Fikret Abdić, which supported the minority government, into power in USK does not bother the SDA headquarters.

With this move this summer, Dedić opened the door for the convicted war criminal, who served his prison sentence in Croatia, to make his move on Velika Kladuša.

Babo won the race for mayor in the municipality where survivors of his camps, members of the Fifth Corps of the Army of RBiH who fought against Abdić's men, live in yesterday's local elections.

In Velika Kladuša, it is heard that Abdić does not bother Dedić, nor the SDA headquarters, "because they are only interested in liquidating Agrokomerc's assets".

As a reminder, Dedić was the key person in Krajina who worked for months to devalue the once-great food giant from Velika Kladuša, which was eventually sold through malversations to the Development Bank of FBiH for only 2.2 million KM, although its assets are worth more than 25 million KM.

Will Babo, who once led Agrokomerc, perhaps be the buyer, and is he perhaps the foreign investor with whom negotiations are underway? It has long been said in the Government that the buyer of Agrokomerc would be from Croatia. It seems it is not Zvečevo, but Babo, who arrived in Velika Kladuša precisely from Croatia.

The answer to this will not take long. Will Šemsudin Dedić ever answer for this, both for the crime and for the "political sale" of Velika Kladuša and Krajina? The people of Krajina, by voting against SDA in the elections, have shown what they think of Dedić and the policies that were pursued.

The affair surrounding Velika Kladuša is not the only one linked to Dedić. The Report on the Financial Audit of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry also showed a number of irregularities in the ministry's work.

The largest number of irregularities relate to the allocation of subsidies to agricultural producers.

The report of the Audit Office of Institutions in FBiH for 2015 states that the Federal Ministry of Agriculture has not established an adequate information system for processing financial support, nor a central database that would show what types of subsidies are involved, as well as which clients have received subsidies.

- This prevents adequate control and oversight of the implementation of subsidy funds, as well as the transparent presentation of data on financial support allocated to clients - the Report states.
