Kotor: A Reprise of New Year's Eve with the Magic of Dino Merlin

(Patria) - Dino Merlin, with last night's concert on the Square of Arms in Kotor, once again justified his epithet as the Sarajevo magician.

Thousands of people eagerly awaited Merlin's appearance on stage, and then they sang in chorus the opening song "Da šutiš".

Confetti in the shape of hearts heralded one of Merlin's greatest hits, "Kad si rekla da me voliš".

- Welcome, dear friends. Kotor, what a wonderful sight this is, it looks like something beautiful is about to happen - these were the words with which he greeted the gathered audience, after which a song of the same name followed.

The hits kept coming: "Sve je laž", "Ja potpuno trijezan umirem", "Smijehom strah pokrijem"...

The audience applauded every number, with chants of "Dino, Dino".

The unrealistically strong and magical connection between the Bosnian-Herzegovinian and Montenegrin audiences was confirmed by the atmosphere during the performance of the cult songs "Je l' Sarajevo gdje je nekad bilo" and "Bosnom behar probeharao".

Merlin also performed the new song "Skoro će zima", and then thanked everyone for choosing to be right there, with him and his songs, in the reprise of New Year's Eve.

The special guest at the concert was Ivana Banfić, and together they sang the duet "Godinama".

- I know that nights like this don't repeat very often. That's why I am grateful for this one - Dino said towards the end of the concert.

In this, as he pointed out, indescribable night that he will remember and for which he is grateful, he had an important message.

- The New Year has arrived. We see how the world is changing. It has almost gone mad. We small people cannot influence everything, but there is something we can influence, there is a light within us - said Dino Merlin, pointing to his heart.

To conclude - a message of peace.

- Let this evening, from this special place, from this beautiful city, a sincere wish for peace, love and happiness go out to all the good people of the world - Merlin concluded.
