(Patria) - Kosovo's Minister of Internal Affairs Xhelal Sveçla said that the security situation in the north of Kosovo has worsened.
He emphasized that KFOR is expected to react as soon as possible and added that if that does not happen, Kosovo will remove the barricades itself.
"They 'KFOR' have been asking for some time for us to remove the barricades ourselves. Now we are waiting for them to fulfill their obligation. But, after 13 days have passed and we have police officers at Jarinje and Brnjak, the days are counting down. I believe that KFOR and international factors are committed to doing this as soon as possible. But, for greater stability, we are waiting for those who erected the barricades or KFOR to do it. The waiting is over," said the Kosovo minister.
Today will be the 14th day since Kosovo Serbs erected barricades in the north of Kosovo.
