Košarac with Di Ping on milk exports to the Chinese market

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Staša Košarac discussed the improvement of economic relations between the two countries in Sarajevo today with the Ambassador of China to BiH Di Ping.

At the meeting, held at the residence of the Chinese Embassy, it was stated that the bilateral relations between BiH and China are good and friendly, and that foreign trade cooperation needs to be intensified and improved.

The focus of the discussion was on the possibilities of placing milk and dairy products from BiH on the Chinese market, after BiH filled out the questionnaire for the export of these goods to China. It was emphasized that the Chinese side is currently analyzing the submitted questionnaire for the export of milk and dairy products from BiH, after which the risk assessment process will follow, within which Chinese inspectors will come to BiH to verify production capacities.

Košarac and Di Ping also discussed the export of wine from BiH to the Chinese market.

Košarac pointed out the need to improve this process in order to improve the business of domestic wine producers in the conditions of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ambassador Di Ping invited Minister Košarac to the Import Food Fair, which will be held in Shanghai in November, in order to improve the foreign trade cooperation between BiH and China.
