Košarac: BiH approved export of planting material to the Russian market

Bosnia and Herzegovina has been approved for the export of planting material to the market of the Russian Federation. Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Staša Košarac confirmed that the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of the Russian Federation has approved the export of planting material to producers of planting material and seedlings from BiH.

"These are companies from Šamac (Poljargo) and Čapljina (Adria Hishtil), which have been placed on the list of registered exporters of planting material and seedlings from BiH to the Russian Federation. For the market of the Russian Federation, 2,000,000 seedlings of tomatoes and peppers from the company from Šamac, and about 1,200,000 planting material of apples and pears from the company from Čapljina are ready," said Minister Košarac.

Minister Košarac invited all producers of planting material and seedlings in BiH to apply through the BiH Administration for the Protection of Plant Health for the export of their products to the market of the Russian Federation.

Let us remind you, Russian veterinary and phytosanitary inspectors visited BiH at the end of last year, and carried out inspection supervision and control of the production capacities of companies that submitted requests in order to meet the conditions for export in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Federation market.
