
Police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) registered a total of 216 calls on the „Krimolovci“ hotline in February 2015, reports the BH news agency Patria.
- In the said period, 31 pieces of useful information were received from citizens regarding committed or planned criminal acts and perpetrators, on the basis of which an equal number of reports were made. The largest number of information related to the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs and weapons.
Of the total number of received information, 31 were forwarded together with reports for further processing to the competent police authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while SIPA also acted on nine of them.
During the reporting period, 35 feedback responses were received from the competent police authorities, related to previously submitted information received via „Krimolovci“. Based on this, it was determined that acting upon the said information resulted in the submission of two reports on committed criminal acts and perpetrators to the competent prosecutor's offices.
In addition, SIPA police officers provided 113 pieces of advice to citizens who contacted them via the anonymous and toll-free telephone number „Krimolovci“ – 080 020 505.
