Inspection of catering facilities: Entertainers under scrutiny for New Year's Eve

Ahead of the upcoming New Year's holidays, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH, in line with available human resources in the Federation of BiH, will conduct inspections of catering facilities where entertainment events (live music program) are organized, it was announced from the Tax Administration of FBiH, reports the Patria News Agency.  

-During the inspection, the subject of control will be the recording of turnover in accordance with the Law on Fiscal Systems and the control of copyright agreements concluded between the organizers of entertainment programs and performers in accordance with the Law on Income Tax.

 During the controls, special attention will be paid to checking whether the contracted amounts of copyright fees are realistically reported.

Furthermore, the subject of control will be the calculated and paid municipal fees for live music performances, in accordance with cantonal laws.

In cases of well-founded suspicion regarding the accuracy of reported copyright fees, the competent Department for Investigative and Intelligence Activities will summon organizers and performers of entertainment programs to provide statements on the amount of fees paid and to undertake certain activities.

If irregularities are found, the Tax Administration of the Federation of BiH will conduct a comprehensive supervision of the legality of business operations for the organizers of entertainment programs, it was announced from the Tax Administration of FBiH.
