
SARAJevo, (Patria) - On March 19, 2020, acting on the requests of competent inspection authorities, police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Directorate conducted a total of 511 checks on compliance with imposed isolation measures, confirmed Mirza Hadžiabdić from the Public Relations Department of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Of this number, in 39 cases, individuals who were issued the said measure were not found at their addresses, which was immediately reported to the competent inspection authorities for further action within their jurisdiction!
"We take this opportunity to appeal to all citizens to strictly adhere to the measures ordered by the competent authorities regarding the COVID-19 virus pandemic, especially those citizens who have received decisions from the inspection authorities regarding the imposed isolation measure. Police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs Directorate will continue, alongside their regular duties and tasks within their jurisdiction, to carry out continuous activities in implementing the measures of competent authorities and institutions regarding the declared state of emergency," said Hadžiabdić.
