Police officers of the IV Police Station stopped a passenger motor vehicle VW Passat with license plates K64-E-514 on Velika aleja street yesterday, which was determined to have been stolen as early as July 4, 2015, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
- The vehicle was driven by driver M.A., born in 1970 in Konjic, where he resides. Checks carried out determined that the said vehicle was stolen on July 4, 2015, from the area of the Centar Sarajevo municipality - stated the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.
On the same day at 7:00 PM, M.A. was deprived of liberty due to reasonable suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of aggravated theft. The prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office in Sarajevo was informed of the above, and M.A. was handed over to the Detention Unit for Persons Deprived of Liberty of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton. Police officers continue working on clarifying and documenting the said criminal offense.
