Konjic resident (56) arrested for dealing amphetamines

(Patria) - Police officers of the Federal Police Administration (FUP) arrested a person with initials M.C. (56) from Konjic on suspicion of dealing amphetamines.

In order to prevent the unauthorized trafficking of narcotic drugs, under the supervision of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Prosecutor's Office, the FUP took measures and actions within its jurisdiction in the area of Konjic, related to documenting the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs.

Thus, based on an order from the Municipal Court in Konjic, they searched one person, a vehicle, and a house in the Konjic area, where they arrested M.C. and found a certain amount of amphetamines and other items that could be related to the commission of the criminal offense in question.

The FUP points out that the arrested person is suspected of having illegally procured and possessed amphetamines in the Konjic area during the past year, which they prepared and packaged in the apartment they use and reside in for further distribution to third parties.

The suspect has undergone criminal processing, and their further status will be decided by the competent Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Prosecutor's Office, Regional Prosecutor's Office Konjic, it was announced from the FUP.
