Congress confirmed: Joe Biden is the US President

(Patria) - The US Congress, a day after the invasion of the Capitol building by Trump's supporters, confirmed Joe Biden's victory in the US presidential election.

Congress, which interrupted the counting of electoral college votes for several hours last night due to the invasion by supporters of President Donald Trump, this morning rejected objections to Joe Biden's victory in the presidential election in Pennsylvania.

The session of Congress then counted the electoral college votes from another 12 federal states, after which Biden's victory in the US presidential election held on November 3 was confirmed.

The session of Congress continued after police and security forces managed to free the Capitol from demonstrators.
