The 12th International Music Festival Bosna ended with a concert by the Zagreb Soloists in the packed Sarajevo Cathedral. The concert was also attended by the Mayor of Stari Grad Municipality Ibrahim Hadžibajrić, who addressed all present with words of satisfaction that the Stari Grad Municipality has been part of this festival for years.
Through the Department for Local Development, the Municipality this year provided financial and technical support for the street performance “One Heart”, held on the square in front of the Cathedral on the first day of the festival, July 13.
The Government of the Republic of Croatia was the general sponsor of this event, especially the City of Zagreb and the Croatian Ministry of Culture, so in addition to Mayor Hadžibajrić, the attendees were addressed by Mirka Jozić, envoy of the Mayor of Zagreb Milan Bandić, as well as the Croatian Ambassador to BiH Ivan Del Vecchio.
All agreed that it is necessary to build cultural bridges between cities in the region and that on many occasions culture comes before politics.
