Thompson Concert: Thousands of People at Pod Bijelim Brijegom, Balloons Released from Old Bridge

The event that has stirred spirits in BiH in recent days is the rally of support for the Hague Six "Pod Bijelim Brijegom" featuring the controversial Marko Perković Thompson. Everything is proceeding without problems. On the other hand, opponents of the rally released 150 balloons into the air from the Old Bridge, which they say represents a symbolic message.

A rally of support for the former leaders of the so-called Croatian Community of Herceg-Bosna, sentenced to 111 years in prison and awaiting a second-instance verdict before the Hague Tribunal, is being held in Mostar.

This rally, where the controversial Croatian performer Marko Perković Thompson will also sing, has provoked numerous reactions in the domestic public. Security measures in Mostar have been increased ahead of tonight's rally, and any other gatherings in the city center during tonight's event have been banned.

N1 television reporter reports that the rally began at 9 PM with the anthem "Lijepa naša". Organizers reported that there were more than 10,000 people at the stadium, but others estimate the number to be smaller.

On the other hand, members of the association 'Children of War Mostar' released 150 balloons into the air at 9 PM from the Old Bridge in Mostar, which represents a symbolic message, the association stated.

Namely, 150 balloons represent the sentence of 150 years in prison, which they hope for, for the six officials of the former Herceg-Bosna who are awaiting a second-instance verdict before the Hague Tribunal.

The balloons were released to the song "Stari" by Kemal Monteno.
