Concert by professors of the Music Academy UNSA as part of the Inclusive University program

(Patria) - The University of Sarajevo is organizing a series of events called Inclusive University from March 7 to 31, and one of them is a concert by professors of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo, which will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 7:00 PM in the "Cvjetko Rihtman" Concert Hall.

The program concept highlights the female performing perspective, so the works of composers P. Viardot, G. Ustvolskaye, D. Pejačević, C. Chaminade, as well as composers H. I. von Biber and S. Rendine, will be performed by Adema Pljevljak-Krehić (soprano), Maja Ačkar-Zlatarević (piano), Azra Medić (piano), Belma Šarančić (accordion), Tamara Arsovski (violin), Alma Dizdar (violin), Zerina Šabotić (piano), Mirna Mlikota-Dizdarević (flute), and Dina Fejzić (piano).

Admission is free.

In addition to the concert by the MAS professors, the Inclusive University project also includes a panel on Roma culture and art, and an exhibition by female students of the Academy of Fine Arts UNSA. By the end of March, a promotion of a special issue of the journal Pregled titled Emancipation of Women in the Light of the Journal Pregled will also be held.
